The refund policy for a paid plan, and what a refund does to your account and its records.
The first fourteen days
For fourteen days from your first payment you can have it back in full, for any reason or none. Write to idan@keptrecord.co from the address you paid with and say you want a refund; nothing else is needed. The refund is made by Lemon Squeezy, which took the payment, to the method you paid with.
This applies once per account. An account that has been refunded once does not get a second fourteen-day window on a later subscription. The system records the date of the first payment and the date of a refund, so whether a request is inside the fourteen days, and whether the account has had its refund, is read from the record and not from anyone's memory.
After fourteen days
Cancel at any time in the billing portal, which the dashboard links to. There is no refund for the month already started; access and weekly scans continue to the end of the period you paid for, and then the account closes.
What a refund does
A full refund closes the account the moment we learn of it: sign-ins, sessions and API keys stop working, weekly scans stop, and the subscription is cancelled so that nothing more is charged. A partial refund changes nothing about access or scans.
What happens to the record
Nothing is deleted when an account closes. Its records are kept for ninety days, readable again if you subscribe with the same email address in that time. Fourteen days before they are deleted we write once to the account's address. What stays after is the account itself, the email address and the fact that a refund was made, so that this policy's once-per-account rule holds and a later subscription finds the same account. Write to us if you want any of it deleted sooner.
Before you pay
The free scan on the homepage reads one page of any site with the same scanner, so nobody needs to pay to find out whether it works on theirs.

Lemon Squeezy, as the seller of record, may also refund a purchase within sixty days on its own terms.
